hello and welcome, 2019!
i hope this is a fruitful year. 2018 was a great year in many ways, but it was full of near-misses and longing, for me… hopefully this year is one that manifests some tangible results from all the work i put in… please cross your fingers for me!
i wrote this song in mid-December, the lyrics came to me very easily, which always gives me positive feelings towards a song… i hope you like it.
you can download it (and read the lyrics) here on bandcamp:
2018 is a year I think i’ll remember forever!!! thank you for being here w me through it!! putting out my first EP, being shortlisted for sync consideration for a major film, and reaching so many more people w the music – so many firsts for me!
here’s to a great 2019!
the moonlight EP is six months old today! this year truly has been a gift. if the music soundtracked a moment for you in any way, even if it only touched the heart of one person, i am grateful. thank you for listening & for giving me a chance to share my heart 💗 creativity is such a gift in life (to all of us)… crafting something tangible out of thin air and melodies and emotions is… pretty special. and connecting with others through it, brings even moreso a special dimension. these songs reached places as far as Los Angeles, Sao Paulo, Warsaw, Istanbul, even Singapore! 🦋 in many ways it doesn’t feel real. but the connections i have made w people this year through the strange world of the internet, makes it genuinely feel as though there is energy created from the flap of the butterfly wings… 🦋 and hopefully the effect of that energy will continue into 2019 and beyond! wishing everyone a happy, healthy, prosperous new year! 💕💗🌙
wishing everyone the best today!
lots of love xxx
this was the first year that i started to see people make something in reaction to my music. that was so surreal… here are some of them:
the final song from the Moonlight EP to get its own video… honeydew. and, actually, the first song i wrote that began this whole journey. so that feels kinda fitting.
i found this beautiful footage from nutcracker fantasy (1979) and, omg, i just had to use it. gives it such a timeless, dreamy quality i think.
available to steam and download on all major platforms. we miss you LC. we miss you JB.
